FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Bear Bins July 23rd, 2021 - Chapleau, ON - The Township of Chapleau is asking residents to be aware of bear sightings and take the necessary steps to avoid attracting them. Bears will take advantage of easy food sources such as garbage, bird food, odours from barbecues and ripe fruit left on trees or the ground. Adele Ann (Connie) Pitt June14,1928 - July 4, 2021 Adele was the second of seven children born to Wilhelmina and Stanislaus Telik. Immediately upon graduating from high school in 1946 she went by herself to Toronto where she found a job as a waitress, first in a family restaurant, and later on board the large tourist ships that would ply the Great Lakes from Duluth eastward.
