MEDIA RELEASE Date: April 8, 2020 For Immediate Release WAIVER OF PENALTY AND INTEREST Township of Chapleau Council, at a special meeting held Wednesday April 8th has voted to waive penalty and interest on the March 30th 2020 tax installment until June 30th, 2020. The second quarter 2020 water, wastewater and refuse collection billing, normally issued in April, will be issued in May with a May 29th due date and interest and penalty on the May billing will be waived until June 30th 2020.
