SOMMERS, Lorraine Victoria – Passed away peacefully at the Chapleau Health Services on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late William Sommers. Cherished mother of Victor (Kim), William “Billy” (Linda), Diane, Daniel (Diana), the late Keith, and Daryl. Loving grandmother of Brad & partner Alicia, Lindsay & partner Norman, Ryan & wife Bridget, Amy & husband Tony, Amanda & husband Tommy, Chrystal & partner Lance, Stephanie & partner Miguel, Brandon & partner Carla, Mark & partner Jess, Alysha, and Jesse. Proud great grandmother of Carter, Grace, Hunter, Thainaya, Teyo, Cheveyo, Zoey, Savanna, Emma, Diego, Aubrey, Justin, Kaylee, Ava, Abel, Blake and Kinsley. Daughter of the late Beatrice and Roland Paquette. Dear sister of Danny (deceased) & wife June, Ralph & wife Bonnie, Rita & husband Charles (deceased), Rodger (deceased) & wife Mary, Leo & wife Cindy, Julie & husband Ralph (deceased), Isidore (deceased), Helen and husband Raymond, Noel & wife Louise, Richard (deceased) & wife Laura and Philip. At Lorraine's request, there will be no funeral services. A private family celebration of her life will be held. Cremation took place at River's Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.
