Obituary: Ronald Fortin
FORTIN, Ronald Marcellin "Ron" - (6 janvier 1963 - 12 août 2021) – S’est éteint paisiblement à Health Sciences North Horizon santé Nord à Sudbury, avec sa famille à ses côtés.
Père bien-aimé d’Yves (Jessica) et de Melissa (Éric). Pépère de Colten, Olivia, Paige, Zoé, Naomi et Tayze. Cher frère de Laura (James), Rose, Lynn (Simon), et Robert (Jennifer). Ron est accueilli au paradis par ses parents Marcellin et Annette. Ron manquera beaucoup à ses nombreux neveux, nièces, tantes, oncles, cousins et cousines, ainsi qu’aux nombreux amis qu'il s’est fait au fil des ans à Chapleau.
Des dons commémoratifs faits à la mémoire de Ron à la Société canadienne du cancer seraient grandement appréciés par sa famille.
Une visite aura lieu à l’église Sacré-Cœur le mardi 17 août 2021 de 10 h jusqu'à l’heure de la messe de funérailles à 11 h, sous la présidence du Révérend Hervé Sauvé. (Les restrictions dues à la Covid-19 sont en place, un nombre limité de participants sera autorisé dans l’église. Les masques sont obligatoires à l’intérieur de l’église).

FORTIN, Ronald Marcellin "Ron" (January 6, 1963– August 12, 2021) – Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North, Sudbury with his family by his side.
Beloved father of Yves (Jessica) and Melissa (Eric). Pépère to Colten, Olivia, Paige, Zoé, Naomi, and Tayze. Dear brother of Laura (James), Rose, Lynn (Simon), and Robert (Jennifer). Ron is welcomed into heaven by his parents Marcellin and Annette. Ron will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the many friends he has made over the years in Chapleau.
Memorial donations made in memory of Ron to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by his family.
A visitation will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday August 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Herve Sauvé officiating. (Covid 19 restrictions are in place, a limited number of attendees will be allowed at the church. Masks are mandatory inside the church).
