Obituary: Pauline Fortier
FORTIER, Pauline - Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Bignucolo Residence on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Romeo Fortier for 45 years. Devoted mother of the late Rejean Fortier, Renald Fortier (Carol), Carol Gauthier (Fernand), Diane Brison (Terry) and Daniel Fortier (Lise). Proud grandmother of Michel, Francine, Nancy, Vickie, late baby Gail, Shelly, Jenny, Mandy, Eric, Joel, Melanie, Josee, Tracy, Mike, James, Christine and Patrick. Great grandmother of 28 and great great grandmother of 3. Pauline was predeceased by her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit at the Sacred Heart Church on Sunday December 26, 2021 from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at the church on Monday December 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Herve Sauve officiating. A spring burial will take place at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Chapleau Health Services Activation Department would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, PSW’s and all of the staff at the Bignucolo Residence for their wonderful care given to Pauline for the last four and a half years.
