Obituary: Lawrence Dillon
DILLON, Lawrence M. – Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday January 26th at the age of 58 years. Beloved husband of Joyce for 31 years. Loving father of Patrick and Nicholas. Proud grandfather of Bentley. Dear son of Noella and the late James Dillon. Dear brother of Michael (Pauline), James, David and Mark. Dear son-in-law of the late Gaston and Annie Longpre. Dear brother-in-law of Aline Barnes, Gail Donivan (Fred), Ricky (Chris), Rita Iturrigui, the late Lloyd and the late Earl. Lawrence will be remembered by his godchild Meghan Donivan and by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday January 31, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. A burial of his cremated remains will take place in the Spring of 2019 at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Chapleau Health Services-Palliative Care or to the Sacred Heart Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
