FORTIN, Joseph Louis Pierre “Peewee” - Passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at the age of 57 years. Beloved son of the late Emile and Aline Fortin. Loving brother of Annette Fortin (Daniel Parent), his twin sister Louise Fortin (Norbert Lacroix), Roland Fortin (Lise), late Jeaninne Collins (late Andre), late Pauline Woods (late Yvon), late Fernand Fortin (Jeanne), late Fernande Fortin (late Emile Godbout), late Laurette Fortin (Bernard) and the late Rollande Pilote (Sylvain). Peewee will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Friday May 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. Interment of his cremated remains will take place at a later date at the St-Jean-Brebeuf Cemetery, Sultan where he will be laid to rest with his parents. Frère bien-aimé de Annette Fortin (Daniel Parent), sa jumelle Louise Fortin (Norbert Lacroix), Roland Fortin (Lise), feue Jeaninne Collins (feu André), feue Pauline Woods (feu Yvon), feu Fernand Fortin (Jeanne), feu Fernande Fortin (feu Émile Godbout), feue Laurette Fortin (Bernard) et feue Rollande Pilote (Sylvain). Se souviendront de lui ses nombreux neveux et nombreuses nièces. La messe des funérailles aura lieu le 25 mai 2018 à 11h, présidée par l’abbé Sébastien Groleau en l’église Sacré-Cœur de Chapleau. L’incinération aura lieu au River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. Il sera enterré avec ses parents, à une date ultérieure, au cimetière Saint-Jean-Brébeuf de Sultan. Des dons commémoratifs à l’intention de l’association du Diabètes (Diabetes Association) ou à la Fondation des maladies rénales (Kidney Foundation) seraient grandement appréciée.
