Obituary: David Lalonde
LALONDE, David – Passed away suddenly at his home in Chapleau on Tuesday February 2, 2021 at the age of age 57 years. Dear father of Drake and Hope. Loving son of Sandy Clarke and the late William Lalonde. Dear brother of Darren (Landa). Dear uncle of Ryder and Dallyn. Dave will be missed by his four-legged companion Ziggy and by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He worked for many years at CP Rail across Canada and will be missed by many in Chapleau where he lived for the last 20 years. His love for the Chicago Blackhawks and for his Trans Am was something that anyone that knew him, knew he loved that team and that car. When Dave would go back to Sudbury to visit, he would get together with his old friends from high school. There was a tight bond made during those high school years that always remained. At this time, there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. Arrangements entrusted to the Kerry Funeral Home Ltd.
