DESBIENS, André “Pepsi” – Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Chapleau Health Centre on Tuesday January 8, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Beloved son of the late Julie and Adelard Desbiens. He is predeceased by his 12 brothers and sisters and leaves behind his niece Lina Bouchard of Chapleau, Ben Bouchard (Monique) of Toronto, Francine Bouchard of Sault Ste. Marie, Richard Frappier (Elizabeth) of Chapleau, Norman Frappier (Cindy) of Chapleau and Danny Belliveau and his great nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by many for his big waves and friendly greetings. Friends may visit at the Kerry Funeral Home Visitation Centre on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church (10 Young Street, Chapleau, ON) on Monday January 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating. Interment of his cremated remains will take place in the spring at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery. DESBIENS, André “Pepsi” - Décédé paisiblement en présence de sa famille, chez lui, à la résidence Bignucolo le mardi 8 janvier 2019 à l’âge de 80 ans. Fils bien-aimé de feux Julie et Adélard Desbiens. Ses 12 frères et sœurs sont décédés avant lui. Il laisse dans le deuil ses neveux et nièces : Lina Bouchard de Chapleau, Ben Bouchard (Monique) de Toronto, Francine Bouchard de Sault Ste. Marie, Richard Frappier (Elizabeth) de Chapleau, Norman Frappier (Cindy) de Chapleau et Danny Belliveau ainsi que leurs enfants. André était reconnu pour ses grandes salutations et son accueil chaleureux. Parents et amis peuvent lui rendre hommage au salon funéraire Kerry (10 rue Young, Chapleau, ON) dès le dimanche 13 janvier 2019 de 19h à 21h. Les funérailles auront lieu le lundi 14 janvier 2019 à 11h à l’église Sacré-Coeur, présidées par l’abbé Sébastien Groleau. L’enterrement aura lieu au printemps 2019 au cimetière municipal de Chapleau. Des dons commémoratifs à l’endroit de la résidence Bignucolo – Département d’Activation ou l’église Sacré-Cœur seraient grandement appréciés par la famille.
