Obituary: Alfred George Ojeebah
OJEEBAH, Alfred “Sonny Boy” – Passed away peacefully at the Timmins & District Hospital with his family by his side on Monday October 30, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Donna Taylor. Loving father of Debbie Ojeebah (Victor), Rene Ojeebah (Barbara), Darell Ojeebah (September), Lisa Ojeebah, Rosanne Ojeebah (Andrew), Darren Taylor (late Cathy) Ruby Taylor (Jacques) and Doreen Wabegijig (Frank). Sonny will be remembered by the mother of his children, Caroline Ojeebah “Kooksie”. Proud grandpa of many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear brother of Evelyn Wolfe, Nellie Mitchell (George), late Doris Johnson, late Rene Ojeebah, and the late Calvin Ojeebah. Sonny will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the Joseph H. Saunders Community Centre, Brunswick House First Nation on Friday November 3, 2017 from 2 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church (4 Pine Street, Chapleau) on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Iris Montague officiating. Cremation will take place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie following the services.
