NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF A ZONING BY-LAW BY
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF CHAPLEAU
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Chapleau has passed By-law No. 2022-40 on the 13th day of June, 2022, under Section 34 and 39 of the Planning Act.
AND TAKE NOTICE that Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a by-law to the Ontario Land Tribunal. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf. No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the council or, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
An appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal in respect of the By-law may be completed by filing with the Clerk of the Township of Chapleau not later than the 3rd day of July, 2022 a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the planning reasons in support of the objection accompanied by the required fee made payable to the Minister of Finance.
The By-law shall apply to the lands located at 8, 20, and 32 Pine Street East. The purpose of the By-Law is to authorize the use of the subject lands as a Campground for up to 10 Recreational Vehicles (including camper trailers) located above the 428 metre floodline for a period of one camping season (ending October 31, 2022).
A copy of the Zoning By-law and any associated information is available for public inspection between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays at the Civic Centre, and available on the Township’s website at:

LOI SUR L’AMÉNAGEMENT DU TERRITOIRE
AVIS D’ADOPTION D’UN RÈGLEMENT DE ZONAGE PAR
LA CORPORATION DU CANTON DE CHAPLEAU
PRENEZ AVIS que le Conseil de la Corporation du Canton de Chapleau a adopté le Règlement 2022-40 le 13e jour de juin 2022, en vertu des articles 34 et 39 de la Loi sur l’aménagement du territoire.
ET PRENEZ AVIS que seuls les particuliers, les personnes morales et les organismes publics peuvent interjeter appel d’un règlement municipal de zonage devant le Tribunal ontarien de l’aménagement du territoire (TOAT). Les associations ou les groupes sans personnalité morale ne peuvent pas déposer d’avis d’appel. Toutefois, un avis d’appel peut être déposé au nom d’un particulier qui est membre de l’association ou du groupe pour le compte de l’un ou l’autre. Aucune personne ni organisme public ne doit être joint en tant que partie à l’audition de l’appel sauf si, avant l’adoption du règlement, la personne ou l’organisme public a présenté des observations orales lors d’une réunion publique ou a présenté des observations écrites au conseil ou qu’il existe, de l’avis du Tribunal, des motifs raisonnables de le faire.
Un appel au Tribunal ontarien de l’aménagement du territoire (TOAT) relativement au Règlement peut être complété en déposant auprès de la greffière du Canton de Chapleau, au plus tard le 3 juillet 2022, un avis d’appel énonçant la nature de l’opposition accompagné des droits exigés payables au ministre des Finances.
Le règlement visé s’applique aux terrains situés aux 8, 20 et 32 rue Pine Est. L’objet du règlement est d’autoriser l’utilisation des dits terrains, au-dessus du niveau de crue de 428 mètres, comme terrain de camping capable d’accueillir jusqu’à 10 véhicules récréatifs (y compris des caravanes) pendant la durée d’une saison de camping (prenant fin le 31 octobre 2022).
Une copie du règlement de zonage et toutes les informations connexes sont mises à la disposition du public aux fins de consultation au Centre civique, de 9 h à 16 h 30 les jours ouvrables. On peut aussi les consulter sur le site Web du Canton au
