RAIL, Mary - A long time resident of Chapleau passed away at the Chapleau Health Services on Sunday March 17, 2013 at the age of 96 years. Mary Rail (nee Lowrie) was born on February 19, 1917 in Gartly, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She was predeceased by her parents William Lowrie and Mary-Jane Milton of Huntly, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Beloved wife of the late Paul Rail of Chapleau. Dear mother of Vanessa Santerre (Claude) of Chapleau, Philip Rail of Wawa, Scott Rail of Mont Laurier, PC, and Frank Rail (Celine) of Chapleau. Loving grandmother of Kenny Rail of LaSarre, PC, Johanne Santerre of Ottawa, Melanie Rail of Chapleau, Paul Rail of North Bay, Natasha Rail of Mississauga, Marco Fluet and Chantal Fluet both of Quebec. Proud great greandmother of 6. Predeceased by her sisters Nellie Michaud of Chapleau and Jeany Milton of Huntly, Aberdeen, Scotland and by her brother Doddie Lowrie of Huntly, Aberdeen, Scotland. Mary will be fondly remembered by her niece Mary-Jane (Michaud) Bujold and by many other nieces and nephews in Canada and Scotland. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Thursday March 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating.
