Mrs. Mabel Westerman
WESTERMAN, Mabel - Passed away peacefully at the Chapleau General Hospital on Sunday December 30, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence 'Laurie' Edwin Westerman. Dear mother of Joan Dowsley (Peter), David Westerman (Susan), Faye Saari (Juhani 'Johnny'), Leslie Westerman (Donna) and William 'Bill' Westerman (Sylvia). Cherished grandmother of Kim, Peri, Chadwick, Tate, Tawnya, Ryan, late Nathan James, Amanda, Tiia, Taylor, Tiffani Trisha and Jordan. Great grandmother of Mabel, Wyatt, Makayla, Gavin, Emlyn, Kiinen, Kaija, Tessa, Tyson, Jack, Nathan, Carson, Bentley, Maxim and Maya. Mabel will be fondly remembered by her surviving family and friends, especially those in England. Mabel served in the Womens Royal Navy Service (WRNS) as a WREN. At Mabel's request there will not be any funeral services. A private family memorial service will take place in the Spring of 2013. Following the service Mabel's ashes will be laid to rest along side her husband at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery.
