Mayor and Council Acclaimed for the Township of Chapleau
August 24th, 2022 – Chapleau, ON – With the nomination deadline for Municipal Council candidates now completed, The Township of Chapleau is pleased to announce that all certified candidates seeking a position on Council have been acclaimed to the Corporation of the Township of Chapleau Council.
Ryan Bignucolo was acclaimed as the new Mayor and the acclaimed Councillors will comprise of Cathy Ansara, Alex Lambruschini, Lisi Bernier (incumbent) and Paul Bernier.
The new term of office commences on November 15, 2022. An Inaugural meeting is scheduled for November 15, 2022 at 6:30pm, at which time the new members of Council will undertake their declarations office.

Élection sans opposition à la mairie et au Conseil du Canton de Chapleau
Chapleau, Ontario. Le 24 août 2022 – La date limite des mises en candidature ayant été atteinte, le Canton de Chapleau est heureux d’annoncer que tous les candidats certifiés briguant un poste au Conseil du Canton de Chapleau y ont été élus sans opposition.
Ainsi, Ryan Bignucolo, nouveau maire, a été élu sans opposition, de même que les membres du Conseil : Cathy Ansara, Alex Lambruschini, Lisi Bernier (conseillère sortante) et Paul Bernier.
Le mandat de ces élus débutera le 15 novembre 2022. Une séance inaugurale est prévue à cette date, à 18 h 30. Au cours de celle-ci, on procédera à l’assermentation des nouveaux membres du Conseil.
