MARTEL, Lorna Mae – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at the Chapleau Health Services. Beloved wife of Aldee Martel for 54 years. Adored mother of Larry (Sandra), Marc (Vicki), Ron (Rachel) and Lisa. Cherished grandmother of Tyler, Kylie, Bryce, Brett, Nicole, Joey, Andrea and Joshua. Dear daughter of the late Murial and Howard Edwards. Loving sister of Vivian McLean (Raymond), Tom Edwards (late Sarah), Michael Edwards, Glen Edwards, Dan Edwards, Judy Hay (Bill), and the late Gerald Edwards, Bill Edwards, Jackie Edwards. Dear daughter-in-law of the late Yvonne and Égide “J.E.” Martel. Dear sister-in-law of Lise Bernier (late Clem), Solange Collins (Allen), Oriette Telik (Walter), Jean Martel (Carmelle), Denis Martel (Linda), Suzanne Riley (late Ross) and the late Yvon Martel (Margot). Friends may visit at the Chapleau Civic Centre on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Sacred Heart Church on Friday May 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating. Interment at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations made to the Chapleau Health Services Foundation or to the Sacred Heart Church would be appreciated by the family.
