BABIN, Veronica 'Nin' - Passed away peacefully at the Chapleau Health Services on Wednesday March 19, 2014 at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Donat Babin. Dear mother of Olive Byce (Alvin), Betty Wickenden (Richard), Edna Clouston (Bruce), Bonnie Desbois (Henry), the late Alex Babin (Suzanne), the late John Babin (Sue), Danny Babin (Sharon), Shirley Stevenson (Roger), Joseph Babin (Linda), Margaret McKnight (John), Allan Babin, Mary Johns (Tim) and Troy Babin (Rina). Loving grandmother of 26 and proud great grandmother of 32. Dear sister of the late Ernie McCue (late Eileen), Dorothy Kiertscher (late John), Mae MacDonald (Joe) and Norbert Roussy. Nin was a very proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #5, Chapleau and a member of the Catholic Women's League at Sacred Heart Church. Friends are invited to visit at the Gilmartin Visitation Centre, 10 Young Street, on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday March 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating. Spring Interment at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Sacred Heart Church or to the Chapleau Health Services Activation Department would be greatly appreciated.
