Death Notice: Edmond & Freda Rioux
RIOUX, Edmond Joseph “Peewee” and Freda Anne (nee Collings) – Edmond was born on January 8, 1927 and passed away on April 16, 2016. Freda Anne was born on February 12, 1926 and passed away on April 27, 2016. Edmond is the son of the late Amanda (Maude) and Zenon Rioux and Freda is the daughter of the late Anne and William Collings. Loving parents of Kimberley Caverley (Tom) of Tillsonburg, ON, Barbara Harty (Dwayne) of Nanton, AB and Debra Young (John) of Goderich, ON. Proud grandparentsof Chelsea and Nicole Caverley, Jeremy and Colin Harty and Bradley Young. Edmond is predeceased by his brothers Paul, Rene and Andre Rioux and Freda is precedeased by her sisters Violet Bromley, Ellen O’Reilly and her brothers Charlie, Harvey and James Collings. Peewee and Freda will be lovingly remembered by their nieces and nephews. A Celebration of their Lives will be held at the P.M. Gilmartin Visitation Centre (10 Young Street) on Tuesday July 19, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. An interment of their ashes will follow at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. (Arrangements entrusted to the P.M.
