Appointment of Chief Administrative Officer
APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
The Council of the Corporation of the Township of Chapleau is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Judith Meyntz, AOMC as the Chief Administrative Officer for the Township of Chapleau.
Judi brings 19 years of government experience, specializing in Senior Management at the Provincial and Municipal levels. With a diploma in Business Management and Certification as an Accredited Ontario Municipal Clerk (AOMC) from the AMCTO and currently registered to receive the Certified Municipal Officer (CMO) designation by the AMCTO, she is well suited for the task at hand.
As a lifetime learner, she continued her education through the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO) in Clerk Training including the Municipal Clerk’s Institute Level 1 AMCTO Certification; the Municipal Administration Program (MAP) program; and the AMCTO’s Elections Training.
Judi brings decades of volunteer commitment within her previous community including Municipal Police Service Board, Community School Councils – Chair of the Board, Road Association – Executive Committee, Block Parent Association, and a local teen mentoring not-for-profit organization.
“I am excited to join the Township of Chapleau as the new Administrator and look forward to meeting the people in the community. I will be making visits around town and introducing myself over the next few weeks. I look forward to meeting as many people as I can to hear your ideas for growth and change.”

Le Conseil de la Corporation du Canton de Chapleau est heureux d’annoncer la nomination de Madame Judith Meyntz, AOMC, au poste de directrice municipale du Canton de Chapleau.
Judi compte 19 ans d’expérience gouvernementale, au cours desquels elle s’est spécialisée dans la haute direction à l’échelle provinciale et municipale. Détentrice d’un diplôme en gestion des affaires et d’une attestation à titre de Accredited Ontario Municipal Clerk (AOMC) accordée par l’Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO), elle est présentement inscrite au programme d’accréditation de fonctionnaire municipal agréé de l’AMCTO, ce qui fait d’elle la titulaire tout indiquée de ce poste.
En tant qu’apprenante à vie, elle a poursuivi sa formation au sein de l’Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO), soit la formation de greffière, y compris l’accréditation de niveau 1 du Municipal Clerks Institute (MCI) de l’AMCTO, la formation du Municipal Administration Program (MAP) et la formation aux élections, toujours de l’AMCTO.
Judi apporte des décennies d’engagement bénévole au sein de sa communauté antérieure, y compris à la Commission municipale des services policiers, aux Conseils d’écoles communautaires – présidente du Conseil, Association de la route – Comité de direction, Programme Parents-secours, et auprès d’un organisme sans but lucratif local de mentorat pour les adolescents.
