O’RILEY, Sydney - It is with profound sadness that Mary Gail and Shawn O'Riley announce the passing of their beloved husband, father and poppa, Sydney Phillip O'Riley on Sunday February 5, 2023 at the age of 73 years. Syd passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Gail and son Shawn at his side professing their love for him. Syd was born in 1949 to Francis and Grace O'Riley at Lady Minto Hospital, Chapleau, Ontario with Dr. G.E. Young as the attending physician.

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Newmont Gold Answers the Call January 26th 2023 – Chapleau, ON – Through the championing of Mayor Bignucolo and council’s dedication and enthusiasm, the Township of Chapleau with the Chapleau Fire Department graciously accepted a donation of a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab from Newmont Gold. McAULEY, Kenneth Robert – Passed away peacefully with his daughter and son by his side at the Chapleau Health Services on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his common-law wife Glenda Rose Gherbaz. Loving father of Terri-Ann Bouchard (Danny), Deborah McAuley, late Lisa McAuley and Michael McAuley (Megan O’Link). Proud grandfather of Eric, Robert “Bobby” and Jaden. Son of the late George and Nellie “Toy” McAuley.

 

The ONE DAY DERBY will take place Saturday, February 11th, 2023 with fishing times 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m

Loving and cherished father of Brendan (Jaime) and Kealan (Tamara). Proud grandfather of Isaac, Lenora and Alethea. David was excited for the arrival of his fourth grandchild that is expected in May.
