CHAPLEAU – Le 5 mars 2023, Pierrette Gagnon Sylvestre, épouse de feu Roger Sylvestre, mère, mémére et sœur adorée, est décédée à l’âge de 84 ans à la résidence Bignucolo des Services de santé de Chapleau. Fille de feu Alphonse Gagnon et de feu Éveline Moreau.

 

DUBÉ, Louis - Est décédé paisiblement aux Services de Santé de Chapleau Health Services le jeudi 23 février 2023 à l’âge de 92 ans. Époux bien-aimé de feu Rita Dubé. Sa compagne Annette Noël se souviendra affectueusement de Louis et le manquera tristement. Père affectueux de Lina Card (George) et Caroline Martel (Paul). Fier grand-père de Michel (Charmaine), Daniel (Alex), Chantal, Tiffany (Mark) et Tyler. Arrière-grand-père de Myka, Kya et Case.

 

O’RILEY, Sydney - It is with profound sadness that Mary Gail and Shawn O'Riley announce the passing of their beloved husband, father and poppa, Sydney Phillip O'Riley on Sunday February 5, 2023 at the age of 73 years. Syd passed away peacefully with his beloved wife Gail and son Shawn at his side professing their love for him. Syd was born in 1949 to Francis and Grace O'Riley at Lady Minto Hospital, Chapleau, Ontario with Dr. G.E. Young as the attending physician.

 

McAULEY, Kenneth Robert – Passed away peacefully with his daughter and son by his side at the Chapleau Health Services on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by his common-law wife Glenda Rose Gherbaz. Loving father of Terri-Ann Bouchard (Danny), Deborah McAuley, late Lisa McAuley and Michael McAuley (Megan O’Link). Proud grandfather of Eric, Robert “Bobby” and Jaden. Son of the late George and Nellie “Toy” McAuley.

 

TREMBLAY, David – Passed away suddenly surrounded by his family at the Chapleau Health Services on Friday January 20, 2023 at the age of 58 years. Beloved husband of Joanna for 33 years. Loving and cherished father of Brendan (Jaime) and Kealan (Tamara). Proud grandfather of Isaac, Lenora and Alethea. David was excited for the arrival of his fourth grandchild that is expected in May. Dear son of Therese and the late Rene Tremblay. Dear brother of Lisa (Jesse), Denise (Marc) and Brian (Carmen). S

 

VEZINA, Leo Benjamin - At the age of 85 years, of Chapleau, ON, passed away on Tuesday January 10th, 2023 in Chapleau. Leo was born in Chapleau to Herbert Vezina and Marguerite Dumontelle on July 21st, 1937. After attending Chapleau High School, he went on to earn a diploma in Industrial and Automation Electronics from the Radio College of Canada. For a number of years, Leo sold and repaired televisions in Chapleau and was responsible for maintaining the local radio and CFCL (Shawmeer) towers.
