The Township of Chapleau wishes to advise all citizens that building inspections, drawing reviews and planning services are to be scheduled on an appointment basis effective immediately, by calling the municipal Office at 705-864-1330. It is important to plan your upcoming building needs and inspection services in advance, as the municipality will now be providing this service through contract services. You can obtain a building permit application from the Township of Chapleau municipal office .

NOTICE to Ice Huts owners This notice is for the residents of Chapleau who left their Ice Huts at the Lorne Street Boat Launch area. Owners of these Ice Huts must remove them from this area by April 15, 2019. Ice Huts not removed by April 15, 2019 will be disposed of at the municipal landfill site at the owner's expense.
