FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE/ POUR DIFFUSION IMMÉDIATE Bear Sightings/ Présence d’ours September 16th, 2021 – Chapleau, ON - The Township of Chapleau is asking residents to be aware of bear sightings and take the necessary steps to avoid attracting them. Bears will take advantage of easy food sources such as garbage, bird food, odours from barbecues and ripe fruit left on trees or the ground.
