Community Safety Wellbeing Plan

The Township of Chapleau has initiated a program to develop a Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, as required by the new legislative amendments to the Police Services Act. Engagement with Chapleau Cree First Nation and Brunswick House First Nation is ongoing with the goal of moving towards a single Plan for all three communities. A collaborative approach is being recommended with involvement from the Ontario Provincial Police, a Steering Committee representing participating communities, community partners and members of the public.
