ST-LAURENT, Raymond – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Sante Chapleau Health Services just four days before his 82nd birthday. Beloved partner of the late Aline Fortin. Dear step-father of late Jeannine Colin (late André), late Pauline Woods (late Yvon), late Fernand Fortin (Jeanne), late Fernande Fortin (late Emile Godbout), late Laurette Fortin (late Bernard), Annette Fortin (Daniel Parent), Louise Heroux (late Norbert), late Louis “PeeWee” Fortin, late Rollande Pilote (Sylvain) and Roland Fortin (Lise). Raymond will be remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Claude St-Laurent (Paulette), Marc-André St-Laurent (Noella), late Jean Guy St-Laurent (Thérèse), Raymonde Dubé (late Lucilien) and Noella Coulombe (Roland). Raymond will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie. A memorial mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday November 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Herve Sauve officiating. Interment at St. John Brebeuf Cemetery, Sultan. Partenaire bien-aimé de feu Aline Fortin. Cher beau-père de feue Jeannine Colin (feu André), feue Pauline Woods (feu Yvon), feu Fernand Fortin (Jeanne), feue Fernande Fortin (feu Émile Godbout), feue Laurette Fortin (feu Bernard), Annette Fortin (Daniel Parent), Louise Héroux (feu Norbert), feu Louis "PeeWee" Fortin, feue Rollande Pilote (Sylvain) et Roland Fortin (Lise). Ses petits-enfants, arrière-petits-enfants et arrière-arrière-petits-enfants se souviendront de Raymond. Cher frère de Claude St-Laurent (Paulette), Marc-André St-Laurent (Noëlla), feu Jean Guy St-Laurent (Thérèse), Raymonde Dubé (feu Lucilien) et Noëlla Coulombe (Roland). De nombreux neveux et nièces se souviendront de Raymond. La crémation a eu lieu au Centre de crémation River’s Edge, à Sault Ste. Marie. Une messe commémorative aura lieu à l’église Sacré-Cœur, le samedi 12 novembre 2022 à 11 h, sous la présidence du révérend Hervé Sauvé. L'inhumation se fera au cimetière de St-Jean-Bréboeuf, à Sultan. Des dons commémoratifs à la Fondation des maladies du cœur seraient appréciés par la famille.
