Fall Clean-Up 2022
Council wishes to inform all ratepayers that the Municipal Landfill Site will be open FREE OF CHARGE to Residential Ratepayers from October 4th to October 8th, 2022.
The hours of operation are Tuesdays to Fridays, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please be reminded that materials brought into the landfill site must be sorted in the way of steel, wood, building products, and other household waste.
Items which are NOT acceptable:
1) Automotive batteries, tires with rims, pressurized tanks with valves;
2) Fridges and Freezers, unless drained of all freon and appropriately tagged OR with the purchase of a $50 Voucher from the Civic Centre;
3) Tires generated by a business or a commercial operation;
4) Derelict Vehicles. These will be picked up by special arrangement through the Civic Center
5) Construction, demolition or renovation material of any type.
Every ratepayer is encouraged to Pitch-in!
