LACROIX, Helen - Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Chapleau Health Services on Friday August 2, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Benoit Lacroix. Loving mother of Suzette Paré (late Albert), Claude (Sharon), Richard 'Ben' (Denise), Anne Ouellette (Rhéo), Carmen (Frank) and Donald. Dear grandmother of 15, great grandmother of 23 and great great grandmother of 3. Dear sister of late Jeannette Larocque, step-sister of Bartley Martel (late Lorraine), Leila Henderson (Jim). Sister-in-law of Mary-Jeanne Lacroix (late Eudore), Theresa Desmarais and Noella Topaloff (late Henry). Helen will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit at the P.M. Gilmartin Visitation Centre (10 Young Street, 1-800-439-4937) on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday August 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sebastien Groleau officiating. Interment at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sacred Heart Church or to the Chapleau Health Services Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
