Centre for Equitable Library Access

CELA provides services to public library members with print disabilities. Eligible patrons of all ages will find a broad range of choices including audio, braille, e-text and described video, delivered bothphysically and digitally, depending on your preference.

Daisy Readers

The Library has three DAISY players available to be borrowed by library card holders for up to four weeks at a time. DAISY players are portable CD players with brightly coloured tactile buttons that make them ideal for patrons who have trouble reading regular print. Our DAISY players can play DAISY books on CD or standard MP3 audiobooks.

Home Library Service

Are you or somebody you know unable to visit the Library? Let us bring the library to you! This service is available to customers with a valid Library card who are confined to their home. Library material will be selected with the customer's personal preferences in mind and then delivered when requested.
